A die (plural dice) is a small cube with dots on it, with each side having a specific number of dots. With six-sided die (the most common type), any parallel sides will add up to seven. Dice are used in various games, and commonly used to teach probability. The most common die used is the basic die with the numbers 1,2,3,4,5,6 and each has a equal chance that it would land there.
